For a recent year-in-review story, we connected Bisnow with Paul Waterloo of TJ client Interra Realty. Waterloo discussed how tariff-fueled construction cost increases have extended the development horizon for many projects, leading some in the industry to pivot to investment and redevelopment, especially in Chicago’s strong multifamily market.
