It was full speed ahead for Taylor Johnson client Joseph Nicholas Construction (JNC) this month as the firm, a dedicated automotive construction studio within the Nicholas Family of Companies, broke ground on two major Chicago-area dealerships. In partnership with Jack Carter Auto Group, JNC celebrated the start of work on Carter Cadillac of Chicago, located within the former Lincoln Yards development. The dealership will become Cadillac’s third flagship store worldwide, joining locations in Los Angeles and New York City. Earlier in May, JNC broke ground on Barrington Porsche, developed with Murgado Automotive Group in Barrington. The 133,960-square-foot building will not only be the largest Porsche dealership in Illinois but also among the largest in the country. TJ supported JNC in announcing both projects with communications strategy, press releases, media outreach, event support and post-event follow-up. Carter Cadillac of Chicago’s groundbreaking received coverage in Crain’s Chicago Business, Chicago Tribune, F&I Showroom, REBusinessOnline, REjournals, TripleNet, Chicago Business Journal, Urbanize Chicago, BLDUP and Chicago Construction News, while Barrington Porsche was featured in F&I Showroom, Bisnow Chicago, Chicago Business Journal and REjournals.
