Strategic Media Coverage Builds Buzz For TJ Clients Launching Leasing And Starting Sales

Between multifamily supply constraints and the highly competitive housing market, real estate media have a healthy appetite for news about projects starting sales and pre-leasing efforts. Recently, Taylor Johnson helped several clients hitting these milestones make headlines through widespread press release outreach, tailored pitching, media tours and responsiveness to local, regional and national media who frequently tap Team TJ for industry narratives:

  • Start of leasing at the North Tower of 400 Lake Shore Drive, the 72-story residential tower in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood from developer Related Midwest. Once complete in March 2027, the 857-foot high-rise will deliver 635 rental apartments to one of the city’s most prominent waterfront sites.
  • Start of sales for Optima Lumina, a 133-residence luxury condominium community in Wilmette, Ill., from Optima, Inc. With prices ranging from $595K to $4.6M (custom combination homes can go higher), the building is setting a new record for North Shore condo prices.
  • Multiple developments being pre-leased by Cross Street, including ORRIS Rental Townhouses in Rocky River, Ohio, and Chicago projects like The Maven, 465 Carpenter, 1880 Milwaukee and Wacker Place (built by TJ client McHugh Construction).

If you are a developer, brokerage firm or leasing company wanting to raise awareness around your sales or leasing programs, contact Emily Johnson at ejohnson@taylorjohnson.com to find out how TJ can spread the word through PR as well as content development, social media and event management.
